Returns and refunds

14-day change-of-mind returns

You may request a return within 14 calendar days after delivery. The item must be unused, unwashed, unaltered and in its original condition, with its packaging and any supplied accessories. Proof of purchase is required.

To start a return, email hello@aveni.co.za with the order number. Do not send an item back before receiving return instructions.

Return delivery costs

For a change-of-mind return, the customer is responsible for the return delivery cost and for packing the item securely. If the item is defective, damaged on delivery or incorrect, we will arrange or reimburse reasonable return delivery costs where required by law.

Defective, damaged or incorrect items

Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible with the order number and clear photographs. Where the Consumer Protection Act applies, qualifying defective goods may be returned within six months after delivery at our risk and expense for a repair, replacement or refund, as provided by law.

Items that cannot be returned

We cannot accept a change-of-mind return for an item that has been used, washed, altered or damaged after delivery. This exclusion does not apply where the return is based on a defect or another right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Refunds

Once a return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to make the funds available.

Order cancellation

Contact us promptly if you wish to cancel an order. If it has not entered dispatch, we will make reasonable efforts to cancel it. If it has already been dispatched, the return process applies.

Statutory rights

This policy is additional to, and does not limit, any cooling-off, quality, refund or other rights available under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, the Consumer Protection Act or other applicable law.
