ABSTACK (Pty) Ltd, trading as AVENI, is responsible for the personal information processed through aveni.co.za.
Information we collect
We may collect contact, delivery, billing, order and account information; messages sent to support; device and browser information; website usage data; and marketing preferences. Payment card details are handled by Shopify and the selected payment provider rather than stored directly by AVENI.
Why we use it
We use personal information to process and deliver orders, provide customer support, prevent fraud, maintain accounts, comply with legal obligations, improve the storefront and, where permitted, measure advertising or send marketing communications.
Who receives it
Information is shared only as reasonably necessary with service providers such as Shopify, payment providers, hosting and analytics providers, couriers, professional advisers and authorities where required by law. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy obligations.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Essential cookies support functions such as the cart and checkout. Optional analytics or advertising technologies are used according to the consent choices available through our privacy controls. Marketing consent can be withdrawn at any time.
We use Meta's advertising tools for Facebook and Instagram, including the Meta Pixel, advanced matching and Conversions API. Where permitted by your consent choices, these tools may share website activity, purchase events, device and browser information, IP address, and information you provide such as your name, email address, phone number and location with Meta. Meta uses this information to match activity to accounts, measure advertising, build audiences and improve ad delivery. You can change your consent through our privacy controls and manage Meta's use of this activity through your Facebook settings.
International processing
Some service providers may process information outside South Africa. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use providers and safeguards that offer an appropriate level of protection.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for orders, support, legal, accounting, fraud-prevention and dispute purposes. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access or correct your personal information, object to certain processing, request deletion where appropriate, or withdraw marketing consent. Email hello@aveni.co.za so that we can verify and respond to the request.
